Delete your account
AllOfUs · Last updated October 4, 2026
You can delete your AllOfUs account and its data at any time, in the app or by email. Deleting is permanent and can't be undone.
Delete in the app
On iPhone and iPad
- Open AllOfUs and go to Settings.
- Tap Delete account, below Sign out.
- Read what will be deleted, then tap Delete forever.
If you signed in with Apple, you'll be asked to confirm with Apple, so AllOfUs can also be disconnected from your Apple ID.
Can't open Settings?
People in the Other role, like a grandparent or sitter, and some adults can't open Settings. Open More, then Account, then Delete account.
On Android
Once AllOfUs for Android is released: open More and tap Delete account, below Sign out.
Children
Children don't delete accounts themselves. A family admin removes a child in Settings, then People: open the child and tap Remove member. Removing a child stops their access right away. If you're a kid, ask a grown-up in your family to help.
To erase what remains of a child you removed, email us from the address you sign in with as an admin of that family. We'll confirm with that address. Within 30 days of your request we erase the child's sign-in, their profile and name, the care and health details saved for them, their school items and private notes, and everything they posted: posts, comments, stories, answers, reactions, ideas, Needs and photos.
Their part in the family's plans and records, like chores, rituals, points and rewards, stays with the family without their name. Anything a grown-up added about them, like a moment with their photo, stays until you delete it in the app.
What deleting does
- Your sign-in is permanently removed and you're taken out of the family.
- Your profile is erased: your photo, birthday, age, bio and everything else on it except your name. Your private notes, your notifications, your list of blocked people and the care and health details your family saved for you are deleted too.
- Photos you added that no one in your family is using are deleted.
- What you shared with your family, like posts, photos, comments and reactions, stays with the family under your name. A family admin can delete your posts, comments and photos at any time.
- If you're the only parent or partner with an account in your family (the Admin or Adult role), the whole family space is deleted with you: every member's information, children included, and all of the family's photos, videos, posts and history. People in the Other role, like a grandparent, nanny or sitter, don't keep a family going, even with their own sign-in.
- What's deleted is permanently erased from our storage and backups within 30 days. What we keep is listed below.
Deleting your account doesn't cancel an AllOfUs Plus subscription. Manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings if you bought it on iPhone, or in Google Play (Play Store, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions) if you bought it on Android.
Delete without the app
Email us and tell us the email address on your account: the one you sign in with, or the address your Apple or Google sign-in uses. If you chose Hide My Email with Apple, that's your private relay address, which forwards to you.
We'll send a confirmation to that address and delete only after you confirm from it. We never act on a request confirmed from a different address. Once you confirm, we delete your account and data within 30 days and email you when it's done.
Signed in with Apple? The quickest way is to sign in with Apple on any iPhone or iPad and delete in the app.
Email hello@getallofus.comWhat we keep
- Your name on what you shared with a family that continues: those posts, photos, comments and reactions, and the family's plans and records that include you, like chores and points, stay with that family, as described above. Photos you uploaded keep an internal ID of your deleted account, with no name or email.
- Reports you made in a family that continues: what you reported and why stay with that family's admins, so they can still act on them. Your note and your account ID are removed.
- That family's history of changes: an internal record of edits in the family, which can include your name and what you changed there. Your profile details and account ID are removed from it. It's kept for up to 400 days.
- Purchases: Apple (on iPhone) and Google Play (on Android) process payments and keep their own purchase records under their own policies. So does RevenueCat, which keeps track of AllOfUs Plus for us. We never receive your payment details. The purchase notices they send us (the plan, dates, store transaction numbers and an account ID) are kept for up to 180 days, or until we've resolved any we couldn't process. To stop one purchase from being claimed twice, we also keep each store transaction number with the account ID and family ID it was first used for, with no end date. These hold no name or email.
- Anonymous setup counts: these hold no name, email, account or device identifier and can't be tied to you.
- Our launch list: if you also gave this website your email for AllOfUs news, that list is separate from your account. Unsubscribe from any of those emails at any time, or ask us to remove you.
