Common questions

How do I add my family?

In the app, open Settings, then People, and tap Add someone (family admins only). Choose Adult to make an invite: they open the link or type the code on their own phone. Choose Child to add a kid. To put a child on their own device, open them in People and tap “Make a join code”.

How does my child join?

A child joins on their own device with a join code and their sign-in code, both made by a parent in Settings, People. On the child's device, open AllOfUs, tap “Join with an invite”, type the join code, then their sign-in code. No email and no Apple ID needed. Parents choose which sections each child can see.

I can't sign in, or I forgot a PIN.

Make sure you're using the same email or Apple/Google account you signed up with. An admin can give a child a new sign-in code in Settings, People: open the child and tap “Set a new sign-in code”. If you're still stuck, email us.

How do I turn notifications on or off?

In the app: Settings, then Notifications. You can also manage them in iOS Settings, Notifications, AllOfUs.

How do I report or hide something?

On someone else's post or comment, tap “•••”, then:

• “Report a serious problem to AllOfUs” sends it to the AllOfUs team, who review reports within 24 hours.
• “Hide posts from Name” hides that person's posts, comments and stories for you. Show them again in Settings, Privacy and safety, Hidden people.
• “Tell a family admin” (or “Tell” and an admin's name) lets your family's admins review it.
• Kids tap “Tell a grown-up”, and can switch on “This is serious” to tell the AllOfUs team too.

Family admins can remove the content or the member. You can also email hello@getallofus.com; we review reports within 24 hours.

Delete your account

In the app, open Settings and tap Delete account (below Sign out), then confirm. Your sign-in is permanently removed and you're taken out of the family. If you're the only parent or partner with an account in your family (the Admin or Adult role), the whole family space and its content are deleted; people in the Other role, like a grandparent or sitter, don't keep a family going.

Can't open the app? Email hello@getallofus.com. We'll confirm with the email address on your account, then delete your account and data for you. See our Privacy Policy for details.
